Requesting the procedural instructions

In order to evaluate a 6-axis industrial robot, it is necessary to proceed in accordance with the procedural instructions available in the following form. This document contains all the regulations and specifications for path creation, measurement, evaluation and data sheet creation.

After completing the request form, we will be happy to send you a copy of the procedural instructions free of charge.

Certification of a robot

The following steps are necessary to create a results data sheet in accordance with the specifications of the energy certificate for industrial robots:

  1. Classification of the robot to be assessed in one of the six payload classes
  2. Creation of the motion sequence in accordance with the points tables from the procedural instructions
  3. Energetic measurement of the robot in the test field (current and voltage):
    • Installation of the payload-specific comparative load
    • Installation of voltage and current measurement technology incl. trigger signal from the robot controller
    • Measurement of the operating states
    • Measurement of the motion sequence of all three path variants
  4. Evaluation of the measurement results (calculation of power, power factors, etc.)
  5. Preparation of path information (real path sequences, robot programs used, etc.)
  6. Creation of the model-specific results data sheet including the required additional information (robot programs, raw measurement data, real path sequences)

Detailed information can be found in the freely available procedural instructions. In principle, an evaluation can be carried out by any technically suitable institution. The body carrying out the assessment is noted on the results data sheet.

Measurement data management

In this area, it will be possible at a later date to view all results data sheets that have already been created - regardless of the manufacturer and the evaluating institution. The prerequisite for this is the provision of the results data via upload.
